The Parque das Dunas is a mix of natural beauty on Natal heart and of course the Holiday Inn Natal could not fail to disclose that attractive beautiful.
Valentine's Grove, public use sector of Parque das Dunas is a beautiful tourist program in Natal. It is suitable for all ages and trends. Tuesday to Sunday Open from 8am to 18pm.
The site has infrastructure for scientific research activity, environmental education, recreation and ecotourism. It offers a playground, picnic area, native vegetation unit of the dunes and health space, with fitness classes, yoga, tai chi and guided walk.
It also has workshop of arts and environmental education, research center with botany and zoology laboratories, artificial lake to attract birds, seedling nursery, walkway through the trees, area with tables for checkers and chess, area for speedy and Ball amphitheater.
In addition, the Parque das Dunas features auditorium (which can be rented for events), trails for Cooper's practice, or hiking, restaurant, cafeteria, infirmary and environmental control position.
There are three must-see eco-tours in interpretative trails. Peroba (at 8 and 14h), for groups up to 25 people; Perobinha (at 9 and 15 hours) for groups of up to 25 people; and Ubaia Doce (at 8 and 14h), up to 20 people.
The State Park Natal Dunes Journalist Luiz Maria Alves was the first Conservation Unit located in Rio Grande do Norte. It occupies an area of 1.172 hectares, between the mother neighborhoods Luiza, Grass Soft and Ponta Negra. It borders on the Via Costeira, although access to the seaside promenade is only through tracks. The flora is represented by 250 native species.
The dunes of this real environmental sanctuary are responsible for feedback and protection of underground water table that supplies part of the city of Natal. The fixing vegetation of dunes prevents sand, driven by the wind, move, burying urban areas. In addition, the park helps to soften the very Natal atmosphere.
