The most famous beach in Natal is Ponta Negra, is located in the neighborhood of the same name. With about 4 km long, the beach is in the far south of the main cards of Natal, the ´Morro do Careca´. Both on the beachfront and in the main streets and avenues of the Ponta Negra neighborhood, you will find great bars and restaurants, nightclubs, shopping, craft centers, coffee and much more for your entertainment and enjoyment.

Located in the neighborhood with the same name, Areia Preta is also known as "Miami Beach" neighborhood because Americans settled there a military base at the time of World War II. It is also this beach that you can see the Mãe Luiza Lighthouse in the dunes of the Parque das Dunas. Its sand is dark and the scenery is composed of rocks.

Praia do Forte:
The last urban beach of Natal is a favorite for families who have children, to be pretty quiet with calm seas and clear waters. Praia do Forte has some kiosks serving snacks and beverages, and also quite sought to practice windsurfing. There you will find still one of the main sights of the city, Fortaleza dos Reis Magos.
